HUMAN—NATURE
Sacred quotes from Inflamed (Marya & Patel, 2021) to illustrate our interconnection.
Peace is nature’s wisdom where everything nourishes everything else in a circle—it exists in opposition to the forces that strip and exploit—these systems disrupt the closed loop of nature.
Our bodies, our beings, are nature—the Earth—inseparable. When we see the edges of the Earth from space, we are part of it. We are not separate from it.
Body Peace is a practice of widening our scope, questioning imposed narratives, and allowing self-worth to emerge from honoring our own experiences. It’s a space for creativity, conversation, and action.
Expressive personal documentation of my commitment
to the goal of Body Peace—with an open, feeling heart—and
I invite you to do the same.
Online or in-person group gatherings for all to
express themselves, illuminate insights for one another,
and take meaningful action together.

I hope thoughtfully and deeply engaging with our bodies feelings and sensations (our body fear) might awaken us to the myth of safety or security in our current economic structures, and the “unavoidable” doom of a future we have no say in.

There is an idea churning in my mind—how plants do not want to harm us. They do not seek to conspire against our well-being, and they will not align with us indefinitely if we misuse them. There will always be dissonance when we engage with them in ways that are out of sync with our nature. But dissonance does not last forever—something always shifts.

I’m writing today to say I’m angry. Angry that I can’t fix you. Angry that I want to fix you. Angry at the food system, at the ways we are shaped by forces beyond our control. I channeled that anger into creating—digital collages, artistic headers for this website, something tangible from the chaos. It gave form to an idea still finding its shape, and for that, I am proud. Proud of our beauty and hope.
My name is K (or Keaton) and I am here because I want to dedicate my free time to explore the diverse ways we may see the world through the ecological lens, organize around our connection to the earth and our bodies, and find deep motivation to act in order to benefit fellow humans and all life and matter on earth. For me it started with the body; the body being free to exist, feel movement, emotion and nourishment.
